Amitabh Bachchan
Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aanjjan Srivastav had a strong relationship in the 1990s, especially during the production of the film Shahenshah. Even in Amitabh’s personal life, Aanjjan had a huge impact by exposing him to the banking industry and helping him create a bank account at the bank where Aanjjan worked.

On Amitabh Bachchan’s Bankruptcy, Aanjjan Srivastav
During this time, both their personal and professional relationships were thriving, with Aanjjan supporting Amitabh through some of his most trying circumstances. Before the well-known program Kaun Banega Crorepati, things, however, took a regrettable turn.
According to Aanjjan, Amitabh Bachchan had declared bankruptcy and his company ABCL was suffering enormous losses that he was unable to bear. He recovered, though, with Kaun Banega Crorepati. The fact that he had cut off all of his old pals shocked me the most. After joining KBC, he had undergone a transformation.
Aanjjan also revealed that after Kaun Banega Crorepati, their relationship’s dynamics changed and the warmth they had once had started to disappear. Aanjjan and his family used to receive invitations from Jaya Bachchan for Holi celebrations, but with time, she stopped doing so and their interactions declined.
He stated, “Amit ji and my connection became bad after KBC. Earlier, Jaya ji would call and invite me and my family to the Holi celebrations, but gradually the invitations and contact completely disappeared. My career was unaffected, but it stung nonetheless. In other cases, it was even my little group of theater friends’ fault for motivating Amitji to turn against me.

Aanjjan thanked Big B for his support and the special times they shared with him despite the shift in their relationship. Even if the warmth between them seems to have waned over the years, Aanjjan has held onto the precious memories they once shared.
In the 1990s, Aanjjan Srivastav of Wagle Ki Duniya and Amitabh Bachchan had a close friendship. When Aanjjan first met Amitabh Bachchan during the filming of Shahenshah, he introduced him to his banker side and helped him open a bank account at the institution where he was employed. Big B’s hardest times were spent with Aanjjan, but after Kaun Banega Crorepati, things deteriorated. Aanjjan revealed the following:
Amitji was in a horrible situation at the time since a massive revolt was taking place against him. I visited the Toofan sets in Filmistan to see how he was doing. There was a sizable anti-Amit Ji protest taking place in Kolkata at the time. While posters were being pulled down, Amit ji was visibly upset. When I arrived, I questioned him, “Bhaisahab kaise hai?” How are you, Brother? and all he said was, “Theek hun” (I’m OK).
There was nobody to see how he was doing. We are aware that Allahabad’s writers began to criticize him. Without his knowledge, his father’s friends had started criticizing him. He was in a dire, terrible state. After that, he had an accident, and I frequently helped him. Amitji was a good man in my eyes.

Amit Ji was imprisoned in the ABCL account when it was present. People were always bluffing him when we used to take statements from the bank and go to his office. My boss and I came to this realization. I requested that the managers refrain from suing him because he was implicated in the incident while being innocent.
He instantly stood up with his hands folded as he saw us. I will reimburse your money as soon as I can, he promised. We have not come for that, I told him. Our arrival is a result of your accountant’s error. We trust that you will provide and that your intentions are good since you will return the money as soon as you can. Do not, however, conduct business with other banks in this type of banking. I returned to the bank and advised them not to pursue a lawsuit. He slowly gave back all the cash.

Amitabh Bachchan had filed for bankruptcy, leaving his company ABCL with enormous losses that he was unable to bear. He recovered, though, with Kaun Banega Crorepati. The fact that he had cut off all of his old pals shocked me the most. After joining KBC, he became a different person.
After KBC, things between Amit ji and I got bad. Jaya ji used to call me and invite my family and I to the Holi celebrations, but over time, both of those invitations and our communication completely stopped. My career was unaffected, but it stung nonetheless. It may possibly have been my small group of theater friends’ fault for inciting Amitji to turn against me.
