Angus Cloud, a star of the popular HBO series Euphoria, passed away at the age of 25.
According to a spokesperson, Cloud, who portrayed drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill on the teen drama, passed away on Monday at his home in Oakland, California.

In a statement, Cloud’s family wrote, “It is with the heaviest heart that we must say goodbye to an incredible human today.”

According to family, Cloud recently buried his father and was currently engaged in a “battle with mental health”.
The statement continued, “The only consolation we have is knowing Angus is finally reunited with his dad, who was his best buddy.
“We hope that his passing will serve as a reminder to others that they are not fighting this battle alone and should not remain silent about it,” they said.
There is no indication of the cause of death.
In a snapshot of his father that he shared on Instagram two weeks ago, Cloud wrote, “Miss u breh.”
After returning from Ireland, where he had laid his father to rest, Cloud “had been battling severe suicidal thoughts,” a source close to his family told Entertainment Tonight.
According to ET, Cloud was residing with family “as he tried to work through overcoming grief”.
“We are deeply grieved to hear of Angus Cloud’s demise. He was incredibly brilliant and adored by the HBO and Euphoria families, according to a statement from HBO.
We offer his friends and family our sincere condolences during this trying time.
Cloud has small acting roles in the movies The Line and North Hollywood. Additionally, he had participated in music videos for musicians including Juice WRLD, Karol G, and Becky G.
But after he was cast as Fez, a high school drug dealer in Euphoria, his career truly took off.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that the part made Cloud a breakout star, and his role was developed in the second season.
In a 2019 interview with GQ, Cloud claimed that he didn’t really want to be a celebrity or even an actor.
According to the magazine, he used to work at a chicken and waffle restaurant before being abruptly halted by a casting agency agent one day.
I didn’t want to give her my phone number because I was perplexed, Cloud told GQ. “I assumed it was a con,”
Euphoria swiftly gained popularity after its June 2019 premiere and by 2022 it had become the most-tweeted-about TV show in the US for the decade.
The main character, played by Zendaya, is a 17-year-old who struggles with drug misuse. Fentanyl, a lethal narcotic, and morphine are both seen being injected on film.

In a 2022 interview with TMZ, Cloud responded to claims that the program glamorized drug usage.
